This is the piece that has been eating me alive for the past three weeks. I'm posting it now mostly because I'm sick of looking at it. Some days, I like it a whole lot and other days, I want to start the whole thing over from scratch. As well as being fascinated by April as a result of the movie, I was especially taken with Gordon and Steve and the rest of the Life Support members. Let me know what you guys think?

“I’m in love with your wife.” Clapton tells him over the roaring din of the bar. He’s leaning too close into George’s personal space and George’s skin suddenly feels itchy and hot.
Clapton. He looks George right in the eye as he says it too; the only sign of anxiousness is his hands rough back and forth movement against his beard. George stares down at his reflection in the glass of the bar top and runs his thin fingers over the top of his drink. In his other hand, he flicks the ash off the end of his cigarette. He thinks the face looking back at him has become very old and very tired.
“All right.” George says, because he doesn’t know what else to say, “Have her then.”
Eric shakes his head, “You don’t get it.” He muses, drawing his lips together and lightly placing his hand over George’s with the cigarette, “You never get it.”
